In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of rewiring a table lamp from start to finish. We’ll take a lamp apart, identify the key components, remove the old wiring, and install a new cord, socket and plug so you understand exactly what’s happening inside—and feel confident doing it yourself the next time.
Bring your own lamp to rewire during class, and you’ll leave with a working lamp and the know-how to tackle another one at home.
No experience necessary. All rewiring supplies and tools are provided.
Please note: This workshop is intended for standard table lamps suitable for basic rewiring. Lamps requiring specialty parts, extensive repair, or complicated multi-socket wiring may not be appropriate for the class.
